Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Cosmic Velocity handles information when you play the game. Cosmic Velocity does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment information.
Information stored on your device
The game stores gameplay information locally on your device or in the app's web storage. This may include level progress, stars earned, launch counts, tutorial status, and the player name shown in the game. This information supports game functionality and can be removed by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.
Leaderboard information
When you complete a level, Cosmic Velocity sends gameplay results to its leaderboard service. The submitted information consists of:
- Your generated or chosen player display name
- The completed level
- Your number of launches
- The number of stars earned
This information is used only to operate and display the in-game leaderboard. Because leaderboard names and scores are public to other players, do not use your real name or include personal information in your display name.
Automatic technical information
The hosting infrastructure used to deliver the game and leaderboard may temporarily process standard technical information, such as IP address, device or browser type, request time, and diagnostic logs. This information is used for security, reliability, troubleshooting, and operation of the service.
In-app purchases
Cosmic Velocity offers an optional permanent map-pack purchase. Apple processes the payment and does not share your full payment-card details with Cosmic Velocity. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app-user identifier, product and entitlement information, purchase and restoration status, store, country, app version, and limited device or diagnostic information needed to validate purchases, restore access, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot the purchase service. RevenueCat and Apple handle this information under their own privacy policies.
Advertising, tracking, and sales
Cosmic Velocity does not use third-party advertising SDKs, does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not sell or rent personal information.
Children's privacy
Cosmic Velocity is not designed to collect personal information from children. Players should not enter real names or other personal information as a leaderboard display name. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact the developer so it can be reviewed and removed.
Data retention and deletion
Local gameplay information remains on your device until app data is cleared or the app is removed. Leaderboard records may be retained while the leaderboard operates. You may request deletion of a leaderboard entry by contacting the developer through the support contact listed on Cosmic Velocity's App Store product page and providing the display name involved.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the game's features or information practices change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
